2012 Race Results

Apologies for the very tardy update to this post.  We had an excellent turnout and outstanding weather for our races this year. Read the write up by Linda Van Vleck  The race results for Slalom and Downriver are now available in pdf form on google docs.  Thank you again to Keith Kishiyama for designing the course and really making it happen, and to our set up volunteers Tom Musolf, Tom Lee, Marilyn Freedburg and Willis McNeil.  See everyone next year!

Advance registration ends May 7.  Use the handy event brite link to register today.  It's going to be a great race!  We've been told the water levels should be good.  Worried about disappointing mom by being on the river on mothers' day?  Bring her along!  Or better yet, surprise her the week before, with a special just for you mom's day and avoid the brunch crowds.  Or take mom to dinner once you get home, the race will likley end by 2 or so and you'll have plenty of time to get home, shower and change before dinner time.

The Race is On!

Good news. March rains have relieved any need to curtail water deliveries.  Tim O'Halloran expects to start releases in early May and thinks we should be getting 600cfs or so by May 12.  Of course more rain, cooler weather etc.... could put a kink in irrigation demand, so cross your fingers for warm and not too wet weather over the next weeks leading up to the race.  And of course for a DRY race weekend.

Registration is now open and can be accomplished on Event Brite.  You may register by credit card, or send a check.  To pay by check, click other payment options at the beginning of the registration process.
